Project Overview
Patient retention is a critical factor in achieving positive healthcare outcomes. Across healthcare systems, “gaps in care” lead to increased costs, poorer patient health, and greater strain on care teams. This project explores how modern data analytics can be used to re-engage patients effectively, streamline outreach, and empower care teams with actionable insights.
As part of my degree program at Western Governors University, I am building this project to integrate both academic learning and real-world problem-solving. While the specifics of my dataset and models will be shaped by upcoming coursework, the overarching goal is to create a scalable, ethical, and data-driven re-engagement framework.

- Gather & Prepare Data: Leverage coursework in data collection, cleaning, and storage to prepare synthetic datasets for analysis.
- Analyze Patterns: Apply statistical and predictive techniques to uncover key drivers of re-engagement.
- Build Tools: Prototype dashboards or reports to support care team decision-making.
- Evaluate Impact: Compare performance of proposed strategies against baseline metrics.
